Friday Collective, the latest brand from Newell Brands, launched this month with a line of specialty candles.

Candles are no longer for the relaxing time in your life – just ask Newell Brands. The company announced the launch of Friday Collective, a new lifestyle brand with a focus on reenergizing and uplifting its consumers.

Friday Collective is kicking off with a special line of scented candles meant to bring joy and optimism and boost the mood. Featuring a soy wax blend, natural fiber wicks and essential oils, the line is split into four different categories that are grouped together by the vibes they are meant to portray.

“Traditionally we think about lighting a candle as a meditative act, a way to wind down,” said Lisa McCarthy, President, Home Fragrance at Newell Brands. “We wanted to rethink that and create candles that were energizing and uplifting. We hope our candles will set a different tone, and the anticipation of the weekend is the perfect way to capture that idea.”

Lowkey Hype, Kickstart The Hustle and Joys of Missing Out each bring four scents of their own to round out the inaugural collection for Friday Collective.

Select fragrances are now available in 7.8oz single wick and 13.5oz three-wick candles and can be found online. More fragrances will be released in the coming months.
