Nothing is more evocative of fall than the warm scent of a pumpkin candle. You can’t help but feel a little bit cozier after smelling pumpkin mixed with spices like nutmeg, clove or cinnamon. That said, some candles are better than others.

I love pumpkin candles and have collected quite a few over the years. Actually, I love anything pumpkin-scented. I recently got a Pura Smart Home Diffuser, and I’m already stocking up on pumpkin spice oils to add to my collection.

That said, I’ve used my experience to round up what I consider the best pumpkin candles for your home. They’re all strong enough that you’ll really smell the pumpkin, and most come in a pretty jar worth showing off.

Capri Blue may be known for its Volcano-scented candle that burns in Anthropologie’s stores. However, the brand also has an equally addictive Pumpkin Clove scent. It smells like pumpkin with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon (pretty much pumpkin pie), but a bit of orange zest adds brightness.

I have yet to find a Voluspa scent I don’t like. This limited-edition pumpkin spiced latte scent has notes of kabocha pumpkin with warm spices mixed with smaller notes of creamy coconut milk and vanilla marshmallow. It smells pretty much like the name suggests: pumpkin spice latte.

Nest New York is known for its luxury scented candles. Its Pumpkin Chai candle smells like pumpkin, spicy masala chai, cardamom, ginger and cinnamon. Imagine the scent of chai tea mixed with pumpkin. According to the brand’s product description, it uses a proprietary premium wax in its candles that makes them burn cleanly and evenly.

West Elm’s new spiced pumpkin candle comes in a pretty ombré jar that fits in with most home decors. The scent includes notes of pumpkin, cinnamon and vanilla. If you don’t want a bright orange candle on display, this one may be more your style.

WoodWick candles don’t come in the prettiest packaging. But they smell amazing, and the wood wick allows them to flicker and crackle like a real fireplace. You can get them in tall or wide jars; I like the wider ones because the wick is bigger and sounds and feels like you have a small fire burning. The Pumpkin Butter scent blends pumpkin with warm spices and sweet butter notes. Get this one if you want your home to feel extra cozy this fall.

This limited-edition seasonal candle is hand-poured and burns the sweet scent of pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, ginger and vanilla.

This may be one of my all-time favorite pumpkin spice candles. I first smelled it at an open house while looking for a new home, and I kept thinking about it afterward. I actually called the realtor to ask its name. Heritage Pumpkin smells like pumpkin, cream and coconut. But don’t let the coconut throw you — this candle doesn’t smell overly sweet, just rich, spicy and super cozy.

BERLIN (Reuters) -A charge to fund gas imports into Germany to boost national stocks has been set at 0.59 euro per megawatt hour (MWh), gas market operator Trading Hub Europe said on Thursday, feeding into a sharp rise in consumer energy costs. The gas storage levy, set to kick in from Oct. 1, comes on top of another levy on end-consumers designed to distribute the cost of replacing Russian gas to utilities like Uniper. However, to cushion the blow to consumers, Chancellor Olaf Scholz said sales tax on gas would be reduced to 7% from 19%.

The age group that made most use of these services was 35- to 44-year-olds, according to UK Finance.
