Hi, what are you looking for?
Wonder Curl launches its first custom fragrances in form of a luxurious, hand-poured, soy wax candle. The iconic hair expert and CEO of Wonder Curl Scarlett Rocourt created Bois du Laroque as love letter to her motherland, Haiti.
This fragrance is what Scarlett imagines being in the mountains of Haiti with scent of Magnolia blossoms in the air blended with vetiver being harvested and ocean air crashing from below.
The name Bois du Laroque originated from the Haitian word “bois” meaning wood and Laroque, Scarlett Rocourt´s mother´s maiden name.
The custom fragrance will be available in a limited edition in form of candles via the Wonder Curl website.
About the founder Founders Scarlett Rocourt´s motivation in creating the brand Wonder Curl was based on frustration. She could never seem to find the perfect product for her hair, as none of them fulfilled the criteria that were important to her. She came to the conclusion to make it her job to create products that do not disappoint, whether it comes to persisting humidity, lasting for more than just a day and taming her thick and frizzy curls. After a long time of hard work, lots of trials and error, she succeeded in creating the first final product of Wonder Curl, which was the Get Set Hair Jelly.
