Hot Girl Summer is making way for Sad Girl Fall a bit early this year with Halloween in July. That’s right, spooky season starts now, at least according to apparent #1 Halloween stan Bath & Body Works. 

The brand’s 2022 collection dropped on Monday, July 18th, featuring new seasonal scents, candle and soap accessories, wallflowers fragrance plugs, and more, and the urge to click “add to bag” on every single product is nearly impossible to resist—although the $1,180.40 price tag on the full collection (and that’s with some of those products on sale or out of stock at the time!) certainly helps.

But whether you want to get a head start on your celebratory plans for October or you’re a Halloween lover looking to sprinkle horror-adjacent conversation starters throughout your home, it’s still possible to score a few, budget-friendly additions. Take this spooky pumpkin nightlight and a vampire blood-scented wallflowers fragrance refill to match, or an ivy hand soap holder. You could even splurge on the haunted house luminary—a 3-wick candle holder—though it’s priced at an arguably unreasonable $200.

But the heart wants what the heart wants, and though it hasn’t even been a day, products are already flying off the shelves. The single wick candle-holding witch hand pedestal—which quickly sold out last year, too—is already unavailable, with listings of more than double the retail price on the resale app Mercari. 

If there’s anything you’re dying to have, now would be the time to make it happen. As enticing as an end-of-season sale may be, it’s too risky to wait and see; these prices won’t jiggle jiggle, and they’ll be sold (out).
