Firelight Candle is a local candle making making company run by Lucy Strickland.
Lucy started her passion project in 2020 after starting to make candles as a hobby during the pandemic lockdowns. She prides herself on finding innovative ways to create lovely clean candles.
She said she wanted to create non-toxic soy candles using carcinogen-free fragrances. She sells her soy candles at the King Street Farmers' Market as well as other markets in Boone and Blowing Rock, but has plans to expand beyond said areas.
