Nike recently announced plans to release its most innovative textile since DRI-Fit. The new material, entitled Nike Forward, can be created with a carbon footprint 75 percent lower than other competing fabrics thanks to an innovative new manufacturing process. To make it, Nike simply runs fiber through a needle-punch to create a workable cloth. Its newest pieces made with Nike Forward also boast up to 70 percent recycled content by weight, and can be constructed with fabrics from industrial or post-consumer waste. Fans interested in trying the material for themselves can shop Nike Forward crew and hoodie styles from the full collection launching September 15.

Bart and Tim Grönefeld – affectionately known as the “Horological Brothers – recently launched the Grönefeld 1969 Deltaworks to unprecedented fervor. Equipped with a 44.5 mm stainless steel case and G-06, 231 component automatic movement, the watch also boasts a 56 hour power reserve. The movement is also hand-decorated with 18 karat gold and steel and requires a full 633 rotations to power the reserve. Seth Rogen’s ‘cannabis lifestyle company’ Houseplant has joined forces with popular European audio company Pro-Ject to create a record player. Each HP1 Phono BT Record Player is handmade in Europe by the Pro-Ject team and offers both 33 and 45 RPM playback. Designed with a retro surfer aesthetic –– and Bluetooth-compatible –– the wavy turntable retails for $550.

For those unfamiliar, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese festival also referred to as the Moon or Mooncake Festival. It will be celebrated this year on September 10, and fans can easily stock up on traditional, assorted or unconventional mooncakes (like Meixin's Peanut Butter and Sesame Snow Mooncake) via Umamicart.
